Welcome to LongStitch (Chinese name: 长拼图; also referred to as “the App” or “we”). LongStitch is a tool that stitches screenshots and generates long images from screen recordings entirely on your device. We take your privacy seriously. Please read this Privacy Policy carefully to understand how we handle information related to you.

1. Information We Collect

Images and video data: LongStitch is a fully on-device tool. Screenshots you select from your photo library, imported screen recordings, and frames captured through the system screen-recording extension are processed, stitched, and exported only on your device. We do not upload your images, videos, or stitch results to our servers.

Accounts and personally identifiable information: The App does not require an account, and we do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, location, or other information that could identify you.

Payment and subscription information: The current version does not offer in-app purchases or subscriptions, so we do not collect any payment or transaction information.

Analytics and advertising: The App does not integrate third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs, and it does not perform cross-app tracking.

2. Permissions

To provide core features, the App may request the system permissions below. You can turn them off at any time in system settings. If a permission is disabled, related features may become unavailable, but other device functions are not affected.

Photo Library (Read): Used to select screenshots or screen recordings you want to stitch.
Photo Library (Write): Used to save the finished long image to your photo library.
Screen Recording (Broadcast Upload Extension): Used via Control Center screen recording to capture scrolling content on your device so the App can generate a long image automatically. Captured frames stay on your device only (including the App Group shared container) and are not uploaded.
Local Notifications: Used to notify you when recording or processing is complete. Notification content is generated on device; we do not send server push notifications.

The App does not request camera, microphone, location, contacts, or other permissions unrelated to its core features.

3. How We Use and Store Information

We use the data described above only on your device for the following purposes:

Stitching multiple images (vertical / horizontal / grid) and generating long images from screen recordings or videos;
Supporting crop, reorder, preview, save, and system share;
Caching temporary files during processing so features work reliably.

You can clear temporary cache in the App settings. After you uninstall the App, related data in the App sandbox and App Group container is removed by the system. Images already saved to your system photo library remain under your control.

4. Third-Party Services

Core processing relies on Apple system frameworks (such as Photos, ReplayKit, and UserNotifications) and runs on your device. We do not disclose, sell, or share your images, videos, or personal information with any third party.

If you use the system share sheet, the third-party app or service you choose will handle the content you share under its own privacy policy.

5. Children’s Privacy

Our service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

Because images, videos, and related processing data stay on your device, you can manage or delete them by:

Clearing cache in the App settings;
Manually deleting related images or videos in the system photo library;
Uninstalling the App to remove local App data.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updated versions will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of the App after an update means you acknowledge and accept the updated policy.
